The Xoloitzcuintle, or Xolo, is an ancient Mexican breed once believed to be a guide for the god Xolotl. Best known for its hairless coat, it is calm, composed, and deeply devoted to its family, making it an excellent watchdog as well. Intelligent and loyal, Xolos tend to be reserved around strangers and benefit from thoughtful socialization.
