Is the breeder HP really free?

Yes. Breeder registration, listings, direct-sale fees, and the breeder HP are all free. Fees apply only on a successful sale.

Can I have an HP without an animal-handling license?

Breeders who only handle categories that don't require a license (fish, coral, insects, etc.) can publish without a registration number. Categories that require one (dogs, cats) can publish after verification.

Do I have to keep updating the HP myself?

No. Your livestock list, rating, reviews, diary, and sold listings are synced automatically from your BreederDirect listings. Just update your listings as usual.
