A ball python morph with beautiful white-brown patchwork pattern. One of most popular color mutations.
The piebald ball python is a color morph of the ball python (Python regius), characterized by irregular patches of white, unpigmented scales contrasting with normally patterned brown-and-black areas across the body. First documented in captive breeding programs in the 1990s, it has since become one of the most recognizable and sought-after ball python morphs worldwide. The extent of white patterning varies considerably between individuals and significantly influences their market value. In all other respects, the piebald morph shares the traits of the standard ball python: adults reach 100–150 cm, have a docile temperament, and tend to curl into a ball when stressed. Care requirements are identical to those of wild-type ball pythons, including a thermal gradient of 26–32°C, shelter, and moderate humidity of 50–60%.
