Temperature and Humidity

Molting
Stick insects molt several times before reaching adulthood. Every molt requires hanging upside-down from a firm surface. The height of the enclosure is directly critical at this moment — insufficient height prevents the insect from extending its body fully during ecdysis, causing limb loss or death.
Preventing molting failures:
