Therea olegrandjeani is a cockroach from India, described in 2008 by Fritzsche and Zompro from a specimen collected at Gooty in Andhra Pradesh; it is known from the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh regions. The cream marking on the tegmina resembles a question mark, which gives the species its English name, and like the related domino cockroach it shows a strong contrast of pale markings on black. In captivity males reach about 22 mm and females about 30 mm. Adults are active by day and easy to observe. Nymphs grow slowly, occasionally taking close to two years to mature, and a deep, layered substrate containing crushed dead hardwood leaves is needed to rear them well. Adult females produce many oothecae, which in one keeper's experience take roughly three months to hatch.
