About this condition
Small flatworms that parasitize coral surfaces, weakening them by blocking light and damaging tissue. They are commonly introduced with new corals.
Common symptoms
- Small brown worms on coral surface
- Polyps do not open
- Color fading
- Growth stagnation

- Introduction from new corals
- Attachment to live rock
- Insufficient quarantine
Prevention (husbandry & daily care)
Quarantine and dip new corals, regular observation.
