About this condition
A disorder of the swim bladder causing fish to float upside-down or on their side and lose the ability to swim normally. Digestive problems or congenital abnormalities may be the underlying cause.
Common symptoms
- Floating upside down
- Tilting sideways
- Sinking and unable to move
- Unable to swim normally

- Indigestion
- Swim bladder abnormality
- Sudden water temperature changes
- Overeating

Proper portion sizes, stable water temperature, easily digestible food.
