The white-bellied parrot, or white-bellied caique in aviculture, is a species of bird in the subfamily Arinae of the family Psittacidae, the African and New World parrots. It is found in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, and Peru. Known for its bold tricoloured plumage and exceptionally playful temperament, the white-bellied caique is often described as the clown of the parrot world. It is highly energetic and requires substantial daily interaction and environmental enrichment.
