The Pacific parrotlet, also known as Lesson's parrotlet or the celestial parrotlet, is a species of small parrot in the family Psittacidae, native to Ecuador and Peru. Despite their diminutive size, Pacific parrotlets have bold, fearless personalities and are known to challenge much larger birds. They are popular companion birds owing to their compact size and relatively quiet voice, and can learn to mimic a small number of words.
