Bearded dragons are characterized by a docile temperament and spiky skin texture covering the entire body. Evaluation focuses on body color morphs (Red, Yellow, Citrus, etc.) and the vibrancy and quality of spikes. UVB management is essential for this diurnal species.

What determines the price
Coloration of body color morphs (Red, Yellow, Citrus, etc.).
HighThe type of body color morph (Red, Orange, Yellow, Hypo, etc.) and the vividness of body color are evaluated. The clearer the coloration according to morph characteristics, the higher the evaluation.
The regularity and arrangement of body spikes.
MediumThe larger and more regularly arranged the spikes across the entire body according to breed characteristics, the higher the appearance evaluation.
Health status (body condition, eyes, appetite).
HighBasic confirmation points include adequate body thickness with vitality, clear eyes, and robust appetite. Also important is checking for signs of MBD (metabolic bone disease).
UVB management history and husbandry environment.
HighBearded dragons require proper UVB lamp management. Individuals raised in environments with appropriate UVB management develop healthy skeletal formation with low MBD (metabolic bone disease) risk.

Confirm body color coloration.

- Good:
- Body color according to morph characteristics is evenly colored throughout.
- Caution:
- If coloration is faint or color is patchy, check the individual's condition and environmental management.
Confirm health status and body condition.
- Good:
- Body has appropriate thickness with sturdy limbs. Eyes are clear with good responsiveness.
- Caution:
- Curved limbs or weak-appearing bones may indicate MBD (metabolic bone disease). Early assessment is necessary.
Confirm vitality and appetite.
- Good:
- Actively moves with good responsiveness to environmental stimuli. Eats eagerly at feeding time.
- Caution:
- Sluggish movement or lack of appetite may indicate a health issue or environmental stress.
Price tiers by grade
Entry-level grade
Healthy individuals from Normal to Hypo morphs. Recommended for keepers experienced with UVB management.
Intermediate grade
Individuals displaying vibrant coloration in Red, Orange, or Yellow morphs.
Premium grade
Selectively bred individuals of rare morphs such as Red or Citrus with particularly intense coloration.
