水流和佈置

珍珠鱗脫落後不會再生，突出的眼睛也容易受傷。不要放入尖銳的石頭或硬質佈置品，水流應保持較弱。

水溫和水質

觀賞用圓形金魚的適溫約為20～23℃。pH值約為7.0～8.4，應避免水溫和水質的急劇變化。

容器和水槽

每條成魚至少需要約38升（10加侖）以上的水量。過濾器應選擇能力較強的產品。

飼料和投餌
