要點總結
Guide to crested gecko morphs: Harlequin, Dalmatian, Pinstripe, Flame, and Lilly White — traits, genetics, and breeding strategies.
Crested geckos have developed diverse morphs since their rediscovery in 1994, offering the second-most extensive morph variety after leopard geckos.
Flame: Cream or light pattern along the dorsal. Most basic and accessible. Harlequin: Flame pattern extending to flanks. 50%+ pattern coverage is high quality. Dalmatian: Black spots scattered across the body. 100+ spots = Super Dalmatian. Pinstripe: Bright-colored raised crests along the back. Lilly White: Co-dominant white body morph. Homozygous is lethal — always breed heterozygous pairs.
Most crested gecko morphs are polygenic (not simple Mendelian). Color intensity and pattern extent improve through selective breeding over generations. Lilly White is the exception with co-dominant inheritance.
Temperature 22-27C (over 30C is dangerous), humidity 50-70%, vertical enclosure, CGD (Crested Gecko Diet) plus insects.
Bri-Choku breeders offer morph specimens with parent photos and lineage information.
