关于这种疾病
A fungal infection of the skin, hair, and nails caused by dermatophytes, characterized by circular hair loss and scaling. This is a zoonotic disease that can spread to humans and other animals; wash hands thoroughly after contact with an infected cat.
主要症状
- Circular areas of hair loss (commonly on head, ears, and limbs)
- Scaling or crusty skin
- Mild or absent itching
- Spreading lesions or multiple affected areas
主要原因
- Dermatophyte fungi such as Microsporum canis
- Contact with infected cats or other animals
- Indirect infection from contaminated environment, bedding, or brushes
- Increased risk in kittens or immunocompromised cats
预防(饲养环境与日常护理)
Quarantine and inspect new cats' skin, regularly clean and ventilate the environment, and disinfect or dispose of brushes and bedding used by infected cats. Always wash hands after handling cats to prevent human infection.
