Bred by Robert Holmes (UK) in 1976, 'Sally Holmes' is a large shrub rose producing spectacular clusters of single to semi-double blooms in cream-white. The clean, refreshing look of the flowers, carried in large trusses above healthy, glossy foliage, brings a light and graceful presence to the garden. Repeat-blooming is strong and consistent from spring through autumn. The plant grows to 1.5–2.5m, requiring generous space; ground planting is recommended. Disease resistance is good. Removing entire spent clusters — rather than individual flowers — after the last bloom in each truss has faded encourages the quickest return of the next flush of flower.
