The striking contrast between a pure white body like a white rabbit and albino red eyes — blood vessels visible through pigment-free irises — creates an endearing appearance beloved by many enthusiasts. Melanin pigment deficiency produces the white body color. Key care consideration: UV sensitivity means strong direct outdoor sunlight must be avoided; bright indoor keeping is standard. Weaker eyesight than normal individuals means food should be distributed evenly across the water surface, with longer feeding times than other varieties.
