Firefish Goby (Nemateleotris magnifica) is a small saltwater fish of the family Microdesmidae widely distributed in the Indian and Pacific Oceans. Characterized by beautiful gradient body color from white-yellow to orange-red and a long first dorsal fin that waves like a flag. Shy by nature, quickly darts into sand when threatened. High ornamental value and one of the popular saltwater fish species.
