A pothos relative with beautiful bluish-silver leaves. Mature leaves develop fenestrations.
Epipremnum pinnatum 'Cebu Blue' is a cultivar of a vining aroid in the family Araceae, originating from the island of Cebu in the Philippines. It is distinguished by its narrow, iridescent bluish-silver leaves that shift in appearance depending on the angle of light. As the plant matures on a support, the leaves develop pinnate splits similar to monstera fenestrations — a dramatic transformation that makes growing it to maturity particularly rewarding. Bright indirect light brings out the characteristic metallic sheen of the foliage; in lower light the blue tones diminish. Water once the soil has dried; overwatering causes root rot. Provide a moss pole or support to encourage climbing and the development of mature, fenestrated leaves. Propagates easily from stem cuttings in water. More unusual than common pothos varieties, it has become a collector favourite, valued for its metallic, sculptural foliage.
