It inhabits a diverse array of lowland habitats including coastal sandy heathlands, grasslands, and forest margins, and displays considerable morphological and color variation across its range. As a robust lowland species, it thrives at warm temperatures of 20–35°C and is intolerant of cold. Cultivation is straightforward using sphagnum or peat-perlite media with consistent moisture and humidity above 50%. Its wide adaptability and ease of care make N. mirabilis one of the best introductory Nepenthes for beginners.
