A disease caused by a microsporidian parasite that invades muscle tissue, causing fading and whitening of the characteristic blue and red stripes and leading to muscle necrosis. No established treatment exists, making early isolation the top priority upon detection.

- Blue and red lines fade and turn white or gray
- White or gray patchy discoloration appears on the body surface
- Spinal curvature or swimming difficulties may be observed
- Loss of appetite and lethargy
主要原因
- Muscle invasion by the microsporidian parasite Pleistophora hyphessobryconis
- Transmission through consumption of dead infected fish by tankmates
- Introduction via inadequately quarantined new fish
- Weakened immunity and stress

Always quarantine new fish for 2–4 weeks, and promptly remove any dead fish to prevent other fish from consuming them. Thorough water quality management and maintaining a stable husbandry environment to support strong immunity are essential preventive measures.
