Phalaenopsis vs. Dendrobium — Which Is Better for Beginners?

Phalaenopsis (moth orchid) and dendrobium are the two top choices for orchid beginners. Both produce beautiful flowers, but their care requirements differ.

• Phalaenopsis: Native to Southeast Asia / Elegant butterfly-like flowers / Standard gift plant

Bloom Duration
