Bred by Louis Lens (Belgium) in 1963 and inducted into the World Rose Hall of Fame in 1991, 'Pascali' is widely regarded as the finest white hybrid tea rose in cultivation. Its defining qualities — pure white petals of excellent substance with exceptional resistance to rain spotting and discoloration — are unusually reliable for a white rose. Repeat-blooming continues from spring through autumn with remarkable consistency, and the light fragrance is pleasant. Its outstanding vase life and stem quality have established it as a commercial cut flower of lasting global importance as well as a garden rose of the highest order. Growing to 1–1.3m in a tidy upright habit, it adapts to a range of conditions. Cutting back to about half in winter, with careful removal of dead wood, maintains the plant in good health.
