With proper care, roses can bloom for decades. Annual pruning and fertilizing help the plant mature and produce more flowers each year. Plants blooming for 30+ years are not uncommon.

Look for thick, sturdy canes, well-developed roots, and no signs of disease or pests. Purchase timing aligned with planting season (autumn to early spring) is recommended.
