The Ragdoll gets its name from the way it goes limp like a ragdoll when picked up. This large, gentle cat is easy to care for and popular as a family pet.

Coat Care

Ragdoll fur is semi-long and relatively tangle-resistant, but daily brushing is still essential.

• Tangle-prone areas: Armpits, inner thighs, and behind the ears need extra attention
