Rosa 'Mister Lincoln' is a dark red hybrid tea rose bred by Herbert Swim and Weeks Rose Growers (USA) in 1964, winning the All-America Rose Selections (AARS) award in 1965. Named after the 16th President of the United States, it produces large, velvety crimson blooms 12–14cm across in the classic high-centered form, accompanied by a strong, classic Damask fragrance that makes it one of the most celebrated cutting roses of its era. Its vigorous growth and good heat tolerance allow it to perform well across a wide range of climates, including warm, humid regions. Winter pruning to about half the plant's height, retaining the strongest canes, supports consistent high-quality flowering year after year.
