Euphorbia Francoisii

Euphorbia francoisii grows in southern Madagascar and is celebrated for the remarkable diversity of leaf patterning among its individuals—green leaves with white to red marbling, variegation, and various color combinations create a near-endless variety. Clone selections and hybrids are widely circulated in the hobby, each offering distinct leaf aesthetics. A flat caudex or swollen stem base supports the leafy stems. Flowers are small and inconspicuous. Toxic white latex is exuded from any damage. Growth is slow. Bright indirect light to gentle direct sun is preferable, as intense sun causes leaf scorch; soil should be well-draining with moderate moisture retention.
