Demand increases for reptiles (emerging from brumation, babies appearing), medaka (breeding season begins), houseplants and succulents (growth season), and insects (larva sales). List animals bred during winter in spring, and create "beginner-friendly set" themed listings.

Summer (June-August): Heat Management and Peak Breeding

Demand rises for tropical fish and corals (summer aquarium hobby), insects (adult peak), medaka (peak breeding), and birds (breeding season). Build trust by clearly stating shipping precautions (cold packs, evening delivery) and establishing no-shipping rules during extreme heat.

Autumn (September-November): Grown Animals and Winter Prep

Demand increases for reptiles (young adults), agave and caudex plants (autumn event demand), small animals, and orchids. Retake photos of grown animals and add winter care advice to your listings.
