Queen Elizabeth

Bred by Dr. Walter Lammerts (USA) in 1954 and a World Rose Hall of Fame inductee, 'Queen Elizabeth' is the original Grandiflora — a class created specifically to accommodate this variety's unique combination of Hybrid Tea bloom quality and Floribunda's cluster-flowering habit. Its clear pink, large blooms are carried on long, upright stems reaching 1.5–2m, making it equally valued in the garden and as a cutting rose. Exceptional disease resistance, cold hardiness, and vigor have made it one of the world's most widely planted roses, appearing in parks, roadsides, and home gardens on every continent. It blooms reliably without much intervention, though cutting back by half in winter revitalizes the plant and improves the following season's performance.
